Terms & conditions

Booking Terms
All self-catering accommodation is let on a fortnightly or weekly basis from 11.30 a.m. on the Saturday of arrival until 9.30 a.m. on the Saturday of departure, to fit in with the sailing schedule and allow the housekeeper time for the changeover. The premises may not be occupied by more than the maximum number stated, so it is of assistance when making a booking to state the number of adults and children in the party. A booking is only considered definite when made in writing accompanied by a deposit of £100.

Telephone bookings are considered provisional, pending confirmation in writing within 14 days. The balance of rental plus £100 to cover the cost of utilities, cleaning and breakages is due 4 weeks before arrival.

Cheques should be made payable to `Miss F.R.L. Stewart'. The premises must be left clean and tidy for the next occupants and we reserve the right to charge for any abnormal cleaning that might be necessary.

Cancellation of Booking
A reservation constitutes a binding contract between proprietor and guest. In the event of cancellation, whilst there is a clear responsibility on us to re-let the accommodation, an account for the balance of the rental will be rendered in accordance with accepted practices if we cannot. The deposit is not returnable, as this is required to cover the expense of re-letting. The liability may be covered by insurance, if necessary.
