The house sleeps nine and comprises four bedrooms, with wash hand basins (1 double, 2 twin and 1 room wth bunks, a small single bed, toy box & selection of children's books), bathroom, shower room, sitting room with 10ft picture window, kitchen/diner with electric cooker, immersion heater, microwave, breadmaker, fridge and freezer. There is a multifuel stove in the sitting room and electric heating throughout. Sorry, no BT phone at Stronvar now - Vodafone, EE & BT mobiles work well. South-facing verandah, looking out to the beach, with outdoor furniture. Enclosed garden.
Guests should bring their own personal towels, sheets, duvet covers and also cot bedding. A cot can be provided by prior notice.
There is a supply of books, magazines, games and DVDs. Walking onto the beach involves paddling through a shallow burn so if weather looks chilly, it's a good idea to pack wellies. Dogs are permitted at Stronvar, provided they are kept under strict control and are guaranteed not to chase sheep. Stronvar is open spring - autumn, details of charges on Availability page.
